The longlists for the 78th British Academy Film Awards have been announced. You won’t find KPop Demon Hunters listed in any categories. Due to Netflix’s mishandling of the film’s theatrical distribution in the UK, it was deemed ineligible for BAFTA consideration. In the Best Animated Film category, ten eligible features were submitted, which were narrowed down to a longlist of six. Three films will ultimately be nominated.
