Cartoon Contender speaks with Saladin K. Patterson, showrunner for "King of the Hill" Seasons 14 and 15.

When creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels decided to bring King of the Hill back for a new generation, they enlisted Saladin K. Patterson as its showrunner for Seasons 14 and 15. Patterson's past work includes developing the recent reboot of The Wonder Years, as well as writing credits on Frasier and The Bernie Mac Show. Cartoon Contender spoke with Patterson about the Primetime Emmys, where King of the Hill has submitted the episode "Kahn-scious Uncoupling" for Outstanding Animated Program consideration. We also got into his history with the Hills, the loss of John Redcorn voice actor Jonathan Joss, and what to expect in Season 15. Check out our video interview below:
