4th Children’s & Family Emmys announce honorees for Individual Achievement in Animation.

Seven artists have been singled out for Individual Achievement in Animation at the 4th Children’s & Family Emmys (CAFE). The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) also announced this year’s recipient of Outstanding Public Service Initiative. Check out this year’s animation honorees below:

Carl the Collector – Outstanding Public Service Initiative (PBS Kids)

Daffy in Wackyland – Character Animation: Max Winston (HBO/HBO Max)

Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld – Character Design: Kaloyan Athannassov (Netflix)

Spellbound – Production Design: Brett Nystul (Netflix)

Star Trek: Prodigy – Background Design: Bastien Grivet (Netflix)

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Color: Mark Anthony Mohamed (Paramount+)

Ultraman: Rising – Character Animation: James Saunders (Netflix)

Win or Lose – Storyboard: Esteban Bravo (Disney+)

The above will all be honored at the 4th Children’s & Family Emmy Awards on March 1, along with this year’s Gold and Silver Circle inductees and Lifetime Achievement Honoree, Bill Nye (the Science Guy). Winners in competitive categories will also be announced on March 2, 2026. You can see the full list of animation nominees here.
